FTC dealer compliance software features compared: the matrix

DealSafe
DealSafe

Disclosure: DealSafe publishes this comparison and is one of the vendors in it. Facts about other vendors come from their own websites and announcements as of October 28, 2026, with sources listed at the end. If something is out of date, write to support@dealsafe.com and we will correct it.

In short: This is the table. Each row is a requirement of the Safeguards Rule or the Red Flags Rule, or a feature dealers ask about. Each cell is what the vendor publishes, as of October 28, 2026. "Yes" means the vendor's own site describes it; "partner" means the vendor says a named partner delivers it; "no" means the vendor describes the product as not doing it; "not published" means we could not find it either way.

Notes on reading the matrix

  • A "partner" cell means a second contract, a second login and a second place the evidence lives. That is not a flaw; it is a cost to put in the comparison.
  • A "not published" cell is a question for the demo, not a verdict. Ask the vendor to put the answer in writing.
  • Pricing cells quote the vendor's page on the day. Third-party price estimates for quote-only vendors exist and are not used here.
