Training & audit support

Training that survives your turnover.

  • Sales consultant turnover runs above 60 percent a year in this industry. A compliance program that depends on remembering last January's seminar is already broken.
  • DealSafe trains every hire automatically and logs every completion.
  • Your audit evidence stays current without a spreadsheet.

New hire today, trained today, logged today.

  • Auto-assigned. Add a hire to DealSafe and the right courses assign themselves by role. Sales, F&I, BDC, office, management. No manager has to remember.
  • Short and dealership-real. Video lessons measured in minutes, written for the sales floor and the F&I office. Red flags on a deal. Data handling at the desk. No generic corporate slideshows.
  • Logged forever. Every completion, quiz score, and policy acknowledgment is time-stamped and stored. Annual refreshers assign themselves. The log is the proof.

You cannot out-train 66 percent turnover with a binder.

The NADA Dealership Workforce Study put sales consultant turnover at 66 percent in 2024, and higher in non-luxury stores. Roughly four in ten new sales hires are gone within 90 days. Every departure takes the training with it. Every new hire is an untrained person with DMS access and customers in the box.

The FTC does not grade on effort. The Safeguards Rule requires security awareness training for all staff, refreshed as threats change. The Red Flags Rule expects staff who can recognize and respond to identity red flags. "We did a session once" is not a program. A logged completion for every current employee is.

Produce your Book of Evidence in 48 hours.

When an examiner, a lender, an insurer, or a buyer's diligence team asks for your compliance program, they are not asking whether you have one. They are asking you to prove it. Accountants who work dealer audits call the difference the Book of Evidence. It is what separates "negligence" from "gross negligence" in the FTC's eyes after an incident.

DealSafe keeps the book current as a byproduct of running the program: your written security program, signed policies, the current risk assessment, training logs for every employee, identity verification records, vendor contracts and reviews, testing results, and the annual board report. Ask on a Tuesday. Hand it over by Thursday.

Every compliance approval the buyer gives, including the privacy policy, terms, hard-credit consent, and e-signature consent, is captured separately and time-stamped at the moment they agree, whether they entered it on their own phone or with your salesperson on an iPad. When a lender, insurer, or examiner asks, you don't reconstruct the deal. You export it.

That is the outcome we sell. The software is how it happens.

When someone asks questions, you do not answer alone.

Audit support is part of the subscription, not a billable surprise. Three situations we stand behind you on:

Lender and insurer reviews

Floor-plan lenders and cyber insurers increasingly ask for MFA evidence, training logs, and an incident response plan before they bind or buy paper. We assemble the package.

Regulatory inquiries

If the FTC or a state AG comes asking, we help you produce the complete, organized record fast, and we tell you plainly when it is time to call your attorney.

Buy-sell diligence

Selling a store? Compliance gaps surface in diligence and become purchase-price chips. Buyers fold acquired stores into their own security programs. A current Book of Evidence protects your number on both sides of that table.

Role-based, not one-size-fits-all.

Role Core training
Sales consultants Red flags on the lot and at the desk, customer data handling, deal jacket hygiene
F&I managers Identity verification workflow, Red Flags response, document handling, adverse action awareness
BDC and internet Lead data handling, remote buyer verification, phishing awareness
Office and controller Access reviews, vendor oversight records, breach reporting basics
Qualified Individual and management Full Safeguards curriculum, incident response drills, board reporting

How long does each course take?

Minutes, not afternoons. Courses are built for a showroom schedule. A new hire can finish core training in their first week without leaving the floor for a day.

Does training count for the Safeguards Rule's requirement?

Yes. Security awareness training for all staff is a named requirement. Completion logs, dates, and content records are exactly what examiners ask for, and exactly what DealSafe stores.

What if someone fails or never finishes?

Managers see incomplete and overdue training on one screen. The program escalates reminders automatically. Unfinished training shows up in your evidence file as a gap to close, not a surprise to find in an audit.

Do you train on the Red Flags Rule specifically?

Yes. Staff learn what the red flags are, how the verification workflow fires, and what to do when a check fails. The training and the detection system teach the same playbook.

We have a compliance consultant we like. Does DealSafe replace them?

Not necessarily. DealSafe runs the daily program and keeps the evidence current. If your consultant does periodic reviews, we hand them clean files and save you the hourly archaeology. Many stores find they need fewer consulting days once the program runs itself.

Prove the program. Not just the effort.
