Why DealSafe
Four ways dealers run compliance. Here is the honest version of each.
- You can keep the binder, hire the consultant, buy the legacy platform, or run the program as software.
- Each has a place. This page tells you when each one makes sense.
- Including when the answer is not DealSafe.

Buy us the way you told your last vendor to sell.
- Published pricing. The number on the pricing page is the number on the invoice.
- Month-to-month. Cancel any month.
- No setup fee. Onboarding is video-led and included.
- Your data is yours. Full export on exit, no ransom, no tolls.
- Promises in writing. Anything we tell you on a call, we will put in the agreement.
- Real support hours. Deals happen on Saturdays. So do we.
- We eat our own cooking. DealSafe runs on the founder's own rooftops at Tyrrell Auto Centers.
Compare the models, not the marketing.
The binder
A policies folder, a checklist, maybe a Word document from a seminar. Cheap to start. The problem: it goes stale the day you print it. The rule requires a current, monitored, logged program. A binder can store proof. It cannot create it. If your incident response plan has not been opened since 2019, you have a paper program.
The consultant
Real expertise, real audits, real value at the right moment. The limits: quarterly visits cannot watch daily work, training evaporates with 66 percent sales turnover, and the meter runs every time you call. Keep a consultant for judgment calls. Do not rent your program by the hour.
The legacy platform
The big suites cover a lot of ground, and for large franchise groups they can be the right call. The trade-offs dealers report: quote-only pricing that requires a sales call to learn, long contracts, breadth over depth, and roll-up mergers that change the product and the support team mid-stream. Some also split the job across vendors, with training or technical controls handled by a second company under a second contract. Several also tie identity verification to their own credit-bureau pull, so changing how you verify buyers means changing who pulls your credit.
DealSafe
The program as software. Built inside a working dealership by a GM who has to comply with the same rules you do. Safeguards program, per-deal identity verification, and training in one subscription. Published per-rooftop pricing. Month-to-month. No setup fee. Built for independent and BHPH stores as deliberately as for groups. The trade-off: we are newer and smaller than the incumbents, and we do not do everything. What we do, we do completely. Identity verification and the buyer's consents are captured digitally, on the buyer's own phone, and the credit pull still runs through whatever bureau you already use. Nothing about your bureau or lender relationships has to change to switch.
The questions you should ask every vendor. Including us.

Scope honesty beats a long feature list.
DealSafe is:
- Your compliance program of record: Safeguards, Red Flags, training, evidence.
- Per-deal identity verification in the F&I office.
- The file you hand an examiner, lender, insurer, or buyer.
- Priced on this website, per rooftop, month-to-month.
DealSafe is not:
- A law firm. For legal judgment, call your counsel. We hand them a clean file.
- Your IT provider. We coordinate testing and document controls; your MSP runs the network.
- A deal paperwork, desking, menu, or e-sign tool. We do not touch how you structure or sign a deal. We verify who is signing and prove your program was running.
- A credit bureau or lender. DealSafe is credit-agnostic. Keep your bureau relationships.
Dealer forums are blunt about software vendors: oversold demos, support that dies after signing, contracts that protect the vendor. So our terms are listed above, before you ever talk to us. Who is behind this.

You are new. Why should I trust you with this?
The company is new. The people are not. DealSafe was built by Dallas Tyrrell, General Manager of Tyrrell Auto Centers, the oldest and largest dealership group in Wyoming, to run compliance in his own stores, and it runs there today. Even so, do not take that on faith: the gap assessment is free and the contract is month-to-month. Judge the work. If we do not perform, you leave with your data and owe nothing further.
How are you different from the all-in-one suites?
Focus. We run the Safeguards program, verify identity on every deal, and keep training and evidence current. We do not sell you HR modules, ad scanners, or a credit bureau switch. Fewer promises, kept in writing.
Will you integrate with my DMS?
DealSafe reads the deal data it needs through standard integrations and never charges you or your other vendors a toll for access. If your DMS charges integration fees, that fee is their policy, and we will help you document it.
What if I am buying or selling a store?
Compliance posture now surfaces in buy-sell diligence. DealSafe's Book of Evidence and diligence package are built for exactly that week. See the training and audit page, or bring it up in your gap assessment.
