DealSafe texts you about a vehicle application only if you agree when you apply. You do not have to agree to submit your application.

What you agree to

The consent wording in the application (version sms_permission.v1) reads:

"Text me about this application at the number above. DealSafe will send document requests and other messages about this application for your dealership. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. You don't have to agree to submit your application."

Messages you may receive

  • One confirmation text when you agree to receive texts about an application.
  • Document requests from your dealership, each with a secure upload link that expires.
  • Other messages about the application you agreed to receive texts for.

Message frequency varies with your application. Message and data rates may apply. Texts are sent on behalf of your dealership and never contain your application details.

Keywords

HELP. Replies: "DealSafe: Texts about your application and document requests. Help: support@dealsafe.com. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel."

STOP. Stops every text from DealSafe's number. Your carrier confirms the opt-out.

START. Starts texts again after STOP. A new application never restarts them on its own.

How your number is handled

Your mobile number and your text-message consent (the wording version and when you agreed) are kept in the deal record for seven years, consistent with dealership record-keeping obligations. They are used only to send the texts described above. Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that send our texts on our behalf (Amazon Web Services).
